Paul Jaeb begins his third year of hosting the popular American Private Investigator podcast, which has now surpassed 3000 monthly downloads.

This month Mike McIntee joins host Paul for the API News segment.  Hear about how rapper 50 Cent fronts the cost for a  private investigation into the apparent suicide of hip hop mogul Chris Lighty; how disgraced former California police office, Christopher Butler, involved in the sensational “Dirty DUIs” scandal in which he acknowledged stealing drugs from law enforcement and setting up men for drunken driving arrests was sentenced to eight years in federal prison; and how Rebekah Brooks, the former chief executive officer of News Corp’s British unit will face the first criminal trial stemming from the company’s tabloid phone-hacking scandal.

Paul Jaeb is then joined by regular Dave Pelligrinelli, who was last on the show in July. Paul and Dave talk about hidden liabilities and expenses, as well as accumulated risks.  They discuss client diversity, the danger of conducting illegal activities, and the results of underpricing services.

Regular contributors Alan Goodman and Peter Psarouthakis join host Paul Jaeb to discuss rogue Private Investigators and their effects on the Private Investigation industry.  The also discuss the movement to set standards and guidelines for the industry under consideration by ASIS International.
